Driver signed by Sysdev for Windows 7,8 and 8.1. Update for Windows 10 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I have obtained WHQL certification for a driver. Cat file has been signed by Microsoft for Windows 7, 8, and 8.1.

Now, I'm performing HLK tests for Windows 10.

I know about the packet merging and resubmission in order to get the signing for all the OSs (7, 8, 8.1, 10).

    My question is:

Will sysdev grant certification for OSs 7, 8 and 8.1 free of charge? And only Windows 10 signing will be charged?

  • Hi Massimobe,

Any certification submission for Windows 7,8,8.1 and 10 is free of charge since January, 2014.

If you get certification for Windows7,8 or 8,1 before the date above, please try to merge test logs

for the OSs and that for Windows10 on HLK. I'm not sure the merge feature supports HCK2.0 or former HCK.
