Outlook 2013 - Custom region not showing in reading pane until item is opened RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a custom region for our own object type IPM.Note.CallLog, i also have a folder where all of these CallLog items are stored. I have removed all Views attached to this folder and then added a view to this folder using the following line

    CallLogsFolder.Views.Add("CallLogs"OlViewType.olTableView, OlViewSaveOption.olViewSaveOptionThisFolderEveryone);

    In Outlook 2010 this region displayed fine in both the reading pane and when the item was opened. In 2013 the standard reading pane for an email is displayed, my custom region only shows once the CallLog item is opened, then it shows in the pop out window AND in the reading pane.

    Anyone able to point me in the right direction?

  • Hello Kev,

    Do you have installed Outlook 2013 x86 or x64? Could you please tell the Outlook version (including the build number)?

    What OS do you use? Is it up to date?

  • It's not just my development machine it's all machines that the plugin gets installed onto.

    However, the details you asked for are...

    64 bit Outlook via Office 365

    Windows 7 64 bit, service pack 1

    All completely up to date with the latest windows updates
