Microsoft Application Blocks, now known as Enterprise Library are a collection of reusable components to address cross-cutting concerns (common programming tasks) such as exception handling, logging and data access. Read more at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff648951.aspx

The complete library is downloadable with source code and plenty of examples.

    Hi,

Microsoft Application Blocks are software component that can be easily plugged in to an existing application/new application. The basic purpose of application blocks is to ease the tasks like data access, handle exception in standard way across the application , log the error, etc.

The most commonly used blocks are Data Access Application Block, and Exception Handling Application Block. You can download then from Microsoft and refer in your application.

    Thanks,
