HTTP Unauthorized when Start a Workflow RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello

I'm having problems in a SharePoint 2013 lab environment, this environment was obtained from a move from the productive SharePoint environment to another farm, so I went through a migration or movement process. Within this environment is configured Project Server, Offices Web Apps and Workflow Manager.

The problem occurs when starting a workflow designed by SharePoint Designer in the site collection where the PWA is located, in the meantime when I started it, the following message is displayed on the workflow status page:

Retrying last request. Next attempt scheduled in less than one minute. Details of last request: HTTP Unauthorized to http://sitecollection/_vti_bin/client.svc/web/lists/getbyid(guid'1dde5798-db59-41e4-9a8e-9362f2498fad')

    Correlation ID: ea59463e-c0b8-121d-9a13-05d51c3c0ff1

    Instance ID: 1be3f78e-9763-4384-960c-85b27a353231

After several seconds the status of the workflow changes to suspend, the following message is displayed on the workflow status page:

RequestorId: ea59463e-c0b8-121d-0000-000000000000. Details: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the workflow instance. Exception details: System.ApplicationException: HTTP 401 {"error_description":"Invalid JWT token. In the first message, the URL is still pointing to the URL of the production environment.

The User Profile Service is running, and the user that start the workflow is listed in the user profile list.

I think the problem is for in somewhere is still point to old farm.

  • Were you able to resolve this? If so, could you please let us know how it resolved for you? I am facing the same issue after migrating WF farm from Production to Dev. Thanks in advance.
