  • Obviously this won't work. But how do I indicate string inside quotes?

    A = Format(Sheet5.Cells(3, 5), ""ERROR";"Y";"N"")

    You need to double quotes.

    A = Format(Sheet5.Cells(3, 5), """ERROR"";""Y"";""N""")
