  • Hi munnasteja,

Do you configure log shipping between SQL Server instances that reside in a same domain or different domains?

Please firstly make sure that SQL Server Agent service account has permission on log shipping backup and copy folders. You can grant everyone full control on the shared folder on your primary server & the copy folder on your secondary server to check that if there is permission issue when copying files from primary to secondary.

    Thanks,

  • Hello,

"tested logshipping from 2005 to 2014, it works as well, however you need to initialize database on 2014 first, it doesn't work from wizard"

    Hope this helps.

  • The database has already initialized,I have already restore the database on secondary server.

    but the thing is

the compatability level of 2014 db is 100, but i have restored it from 2005 server with compatability 90
