Why can the VPC domain I created mount c$ of the domain on the host OS? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I created two domains, two forests, one KING and one QUEEN both Win 2008 R2. KING is the root OS and QUEEN is on a VPC on KING. Before I establish any trust relationship between the two of them I am able to log on to each as the respective administrator of each domain and mount c$ in the other domain controller. I didn't make c$ public nor did\can I add the admins as users of the other domain (as no trust relationship exists) so I wouldn't expect to be able to do this... Why am I be able to do this?
