Application pages migrate from sharepoint 2007 to sharepoint 2010 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I would want to migrate application pages which were developed in sharepoint 2007 to sharepoint 2010.

What are the changes I have to make inorder to work in sharepoint 2010.

    Thanks in advance.

  • In most cases the API hasn't changed much and even where it has the old methods remain but are marked as deprecated. As such the existing WSPs can be installed to 2010 and just work.

That said, you provide no details at all about what your Application Pages do, so in general I can say things tend to work but specifically for your case I can't add anything else.
