  • Question

  • Years ago I bought David Sceppa's book on ADO.NET.  I really enjoyed his style and the content in general. Now after several years of being pushed into a bit of java and websphere, I'm finally back to .NET.

What's the latest really good book (along the same style/content as David's) on ADO.NET ?  I looked around all the usual sites at reviews - I even bought one.  I did notice I didn't see an 'updated' Sceppa book.

Not interested too much, at least at this moment in time, in Entity Framework, LINQ etc.  I tried "Visual C# 2005 Recipes".  While I didn't waste my money at all (fun book actually, the way it's laid out and written), it's just not exactly what I'm looking for.

    Suggestions ?
