Dcount returns 0 in the access form RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • hi

in my form I have a text box to view the number of duplicates in a table where form ID = the ID in that table:

    =DCount("[log].[ID]","[log]","[log].[ID]=[ID].[Text]")

the textbox returns 0 for all records but it gives the true number when I go to the layout view and refresh from it

then the problem will back in every time I go to another record

    what can resolve this problem?

    thanks

    Hi moaaz,

    You can try:

    =DCount("[log].[ID]","[log]","[log].[ID] = " & [ID])

    Imb.
