I just installed Web Dev Express 2008 on a work Vista machine, and I can't get the Dev Server to work.

I have two different problems. Wierdly, if I create a "Web Site" and try to run it then I get an error that the Dev Server could not be contaced and I see that the server never even starts.

However, if I create a "Project" and run it then the Dev Server does launch and I do connect to it, but then I get the error:

Description: The application attempted to perform an operation not allowed by the security policy.  To grant this application the required permission please contact your system administrator or change the application's trust level in the configuration file.

Exception Details: System.Security.SecurityException: Request for the permission of type 'System.Web.AspNetHostingPermission, System, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' failed.

Its so easy getting ths all working on XP, and there seesms to be so little help on how to get this working on Vista. Any idea on what I need to do here?

    Thanks

Could be, my project is in my Document folder which is mapped to a folder on the server. I'll try moving it to me local machine.

    Thanks

    Edit: Yes, that was it.
