  • Hi Joe,

Your supported thread is show "ERROR NO DEVELOPER CERTIFICATE FOUND" ,Mine is "could not install the developer certificate".

I created an package by this link.  Move to other machine  : do folllow this link.

    1. On the computer where you want to install the app, extract the contents of the output folder, and then find the PowerShell script that's named Add-AppDevPackage.

    2. On the shortcut menu for Add-AppDevPackage, choose Run with PowerShell.

The script performs the following steps.

      1. Shows information about the certificate that the script will install. You must confirm whether you want to continue.

      2. Verifies whether an app package and required certificates are present. If the script doesn't find them, an error appears.

      3. Verifies whether you have a developer license. If the script doesn't find one, you're prompted to get one.

To get a developer license, you must have a Microsoft account.

My error may happened in step 2 step 3.

I try many times and different  show the same error.

The issue is still not solved.

    thanks

  • Right after this message:

Before installing this developer package, you need to do the following:

    - Install the developer certificate

You should have gotten a new window prompting you to confirm installing the cert. Did you type 'Y' on that window? If you did and the error still occurs, this error could be caused by an invalid signing certificate which happens if you upgraded your project from Beta to RC because we have tightened up the certificate requirements in RC. Is this a project that was created initially using Beta? If so, please follow the instructions on the link below to renew the certificate and retry.
