Problems with Microsoft::DirectX::AudioVideoPlayback::Video RRS feed

  • I have installed DirectX SDK and added a reference to Microsoft::DirectX::AudioVideoPlayback::Video.

    When I try to execute the following code the application just freeze and nothing happens:

    Microsoft::DirectX::AudioVideoPlayback::Video ^video = gcnew Microsoft::DirectX::AudioVideoPlayback::Video(fileName);

    According  to your description, i think the issue is on "fileName" or "content of file" if the app is freeze and nothing happens.

    Have you just waited for a while? Maybe your file is so large that the video need some times to init itself.

    I think you could have a try on a smaller and simple file with Microsoft::DirectX::AudioVideoPlayback::Video .
