  • Your 'field' is missing from your post.

  • Hi,

    My filed's rule is:

    { if {page} < 28 "REVISED ACCORDING CUSTOMER COMMENTDS" "N/A" }

  • What that field code says is:

    If the page # is less than 28, display "REVISED ACCORDING CUSTOMER COMMENTDS" (note the apparent typo); otherwise display "N/A".

    So, what page are you viewing (e.g. what does a {PAGE} field on its own display?

  • Did you copy/paste the field codes into the problem document, or create them from scratch? If the latter, did you use Ctrl-F9 for all the field braces (i.e. { })? You can't type them for the {PAGE} field. You must also have at least one space on both sides of the 28. Have you refreshed the field (eg via F9)?

  • Is the other user using MS Word? If so, have them repair the Office installation (e.g. via Programs & Features > Microsoft Office > Change, in the Windows Control Panel).

    Hi Tommy

    Where is this field code located? In a header/footer or in the body of the document? If you press Ctrl+A, F9 does the result change?

    How about if you print the document? Is the result correct or still wrong?

    Is a different language setting used on the second PC?

    How about if you put quotes around the two halves of the equation, does that change anything:

     { if "{page}" < "28" "REVISED ACCORDING CUSTOMER COMMENTDS" "N/A" }

    If you copy the PAGE field and paste it outside the field code, in the text, click in it and press F9 to force an update, what page number displays?
