  • while convert framework 1.1 application to faramework 4.0.
    Getting run time exeption :

    Could not load file or assembly 'GEMSFormulaBuilder.DLL' or one of its
    dependencies. Exception from HRESULT: 0xE0434352

  • I am unable to find any reference to 'GEMSFormulaBuilder.DLL' y searching MSDN or the web.

    Does this application use any third party controls or user controls?

    I would suggest you attempt to retarget the original application to .NET 2.0 and see if that is successful.

    Dll : GEMSFormulaBuilder is third party application, created in VC++. That dll used in dotnet 1.1 aplication.
    While converting for dotnet 1.1 application into 4.0 version , getting error " Could not load file or assembly 'GEMSFormulaBuilder.DLL' or one of its
    dependencies. Exception from HRESULT: 0xE0434352"

    Operation System : win 7 using .

    remarks : Enable win32 : true in IIS as well.

  • Then, I suggest you contact the publisher of the third party application for assistance or an updated version.

      How to convert third party dll " GemsFormulabuilder" code , we are publisher & have code with us.

      remarks :  dll is in Vc++ code. want to use in converted application version 4.0.

                      Getting runtime exception while build get success.
