Detect events for default buttons in the word menu bar RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All ,

    Is there a way to detect/customise an event when a default button on the msword menu toolbar is clicked ,like when the user clicks on insert table,or any button like the bullet/bold etc can we say when the user clicked this?

    Also in the same way can we track a right click event , i found this

     private void ThisAddIn_Startup(object sender, System.EventArgs e)

                application = this.Application;
                application.WindowBeforeRightClick +=
                    new Word.ApplicationEvents4_WindowBeforeRightClickEventHandler(application_WindowBeforeRightClick);
                    application.CustomizationContext = application.ActiveDocument;

           public void application_WindowBeforeRightClick(Word.Selection selection, ref bool Cancel)
                     //suppose the user clicks on a menu after right click , display a menu name

    Can anyone please tell me how i can track these two events i.e the ms word deafult toolbar menu button click and   the event when right clicked ?Thanks
