Navigational Links are not working properly RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have based this website on the EW3 template Organization#1. Two of my pages I had to detach from the .dwt. and herein lies the problem. I have lost the navigation links that were working perfectly before I detached the two pages. In my efforts to correct the problem it seems to have gotten 10 times worse. Now, the navigation menu at the top and bottom of the pages do not function. Once published to the web I receive error messages.

I can figure out what the problem is pointing to, but I can't fix it, I have tried for hours. Here is the link to my website, if you could please help me I would appreciate. The "availabledogs" page keeps getting stuck before every page link. You can see where I have tried to correct the mistake but it still doesn't work. Thank you.  http://www.stlouisscottierescue.com.

  • Links work fine here, however you have specified an inline width for the contact link, which needs to be removed.
    <li><a href="../contact/contact.htm" style="width: 51px">Contact</a></li>

    Remove "width=51px"

Also the footer in the available dogs page is below the closing body tag.
Open the page in code view and move </body> to just above </html> at the bottom of the page.

  • I thought they worked fine initially but if you go to the 'available dogs' page and then look at the link to 'available dogs', the path name is wrong.

Suspect it just needs correcting on that page.

  • That is strange.
Mouse over it a second time Ian and it is correct.

  • Interesting, I don't see that but I've now spotted that the photogallery link on the 'available dogs' page is wrong too.

The server's mighty slow as well.
