maintenance plan to rebuild/recreate indexes RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I need some assistance/guidance with the following...

I have to create a maintenance plan that rebuilds and recreates indexes with a fragmentation level of > 15%. I am a SQL developer, so I am not familiar with this type of DBA work. I assume that I should create a stored procedure that accomplishes this, but I am not sure where to start. Any help would be appreciated, and always that you in advance!
