  • hello
I have used the "Managed DismApi Wrapper" package to write a tool which installed Windows embedded updates (collected by WEDU)
recently the updates started to come as rollup fix updates.
unfortunately there seems to be a problem and the rollup updates are not installed

here is a log extract about the update:

  • Do these updates install after OS install?

  • yes, then updated are run after the OS is installed

the tool is meant to be distributed to offline machines and update them

  • Let me clarify my question. I see where you are getting the API from:  (https://github.com/josemesona/ManagedDism). If these updates are failing with the tool you create, have you tried installing them individually using DISM.exe taking the API out of the picture? And do they install?

Another approach is to create a configuration set with the updates and then install using DISM as one package.

  • I'll try running the updated separately and as a configuration set I'll update afterwards
