  • Question

  • I'm deploying the same project to the same machine.

I'm not changing anything between builds

    My Debug build works good

    My Release build says :

Exception Details: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException: Attempt to access invalid address. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800701E7)

FileLoadException: Could not load file or assembly 'MyAssembly, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies.
Attempt to access invalid address. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800701E7)]

  • kymaita,

Based on your post the error message in release mode "Attempt to access invalid address" is too common to catch the error. in MSDN document, if your assembly is a third-party assembly, you could Contact the supplier of the running application. See the link below:

  •  Are you using a 3d party component? Check the license issues.

    Cheers.
