Subscriber ID for Training Purpose RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

I'm just trying to learn how to use DPM, etc because I picked up a new job.

Therefore, I would like to install DPM to learn to handle it, without the risk of doing damage to a production system. If I try to download DPM a SubscriberID is requested. :-(

Is there a way to get this key for private purposes for let's say 90 days?

    Regards
    Christian

  • Hey Christian,

    Congrats on the new job!

Trials for the System Center products are available here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/server-cloud/evaluate/trial-software.aspx

Unfortunately there is no way for us to provide trial MSDN Subscriptions.  If you need access to these products ongoing, you might be able to convince your new employer to purchase an MSDN Subscription for you.  The prices are significantly lower than purchasing the products over retail, and your organization may already have a volume license agreement that they can add you to.  Otherwise, you can see the purchasing options for the various MSDN Subscriptions here: https://msdn.microsoft.com/subscriptions/buy

    Thanks!
