    I'm using the ClubSite starter kit as a base for a new website I'm developing for myself. I have changed the meny and replaced it with a new menu control. When I defined some some DynamicHoverStyle properties I started to get an errormessage that said something like I had to add the following to the Head tag:

    My headtag now looks like:

    <head runat="server">

    <link type="text/css" rel="Stylesheet" href="clubsite.css" />

    The menu works fine, but the title does not appear in the browser. Can someone help me?

    Best regards

    The head section needs the runat=server so that controls can add their content to the head of the document. In your specific case, the menu control is probably wanting to spit out some CSS, which needs to be in the head.

    The title of the page can be specified in 2 places - the head section, and in the page directive. Provided that the head is set to runat=server, then the page directive title will take precidence - this is so it works for master pages, where the title needs to be specified by the content page.
