When i see in task manager the process has started under Netwrok Security account but i dont see it running on desktop.

It is your desktop, not Network Security desktop. It's normal

    Hi,

What is your overall goal ? In  particular note that it runs server side so it would launch notepad or whatever on the server. If you want to launch an EXE on the client side this is not that easy.

So you'll likely get better help if you explain first what exactly is your goal...

The article you mention is 9 years old, and aplied to ASP .Net  version 1.0

    See http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/e8zac0ca.aspx - particularily:

    NoteNote

ASP.NET Web page and server control code executes in the context of the ASP.NET worker process on the Web server.  If you use the Start method in an ASP.NET Web page or server control, the new process executes on the Web server with restricted permissions. The process does not start in the same context as the client browser, and does not have access to the user desktop.
