Multilanguage support-HTML Editor

hi all,

my task is from the admin side, admin can enter different langauge contents in a editor then add the contents into a sql database table Text column.

My doubts

1. Is this possible to add Chinese / Spanish / Japanese langues in AJAX HTMLEditor control?

2. Once the admin click the Add button then the HTML Editor content will add into the table on Text column then this will go and display the client page without any encryption / conversion, here my doubt is, if the client machine doesnt have Chinese / Spanish / Japanese languages then also will the content display?

hi thanks for your response.

Actually i have pasted the some hindi content ওয়েব মেইল জনপ্রিয় হলেও অনেকের ক্ষেত্রে পপ ব্যবহার বেশ সুবিধাজনক। to the AJAX editor control and added into the DB.  I bind the same contents into the Gridview i saw there only ? symbols instead of the Hindi char.

Then i looked on DB the data looks like this

<ol>
<li><span>???? ???? ??????? ???? ?????? <span style="font-weight: bold">???????? </span>?? ??????? ??? ?????????? ????? ??? ????? <span style="text-decoration: line-through">??????????? </span>??? ?? ?? ???? ?????-??&nbsp;&nbsp;??????? </span></li></ol>

all are ?? symbols.

what is the problem to add the hindi contents and display hindi contents?

Your database type should nVarchar or nText.
