"No provisioning handler is installed" exception when enabling Exchange 2010 mailbox. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi everyone,

I am attempting to enable an Exchange 2010 mailbox using the enable-mailbox cmdlet and Exchange Management Shell. However, it throws the following exception:

    "No provisioning handler is installed."

The curious thing is that I am able to successfully enable an Exchange 2010 mailbox using just the enable-mailbox cmdlet in the following fashion:

    enable-mailbox -identity adtest56 -database "DB001" -PrimarySmtpAddress

So it appears that the Exchange Management Shell is not picking up this provisioning handler. Any ideas on why this is so would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
