making first windows 8 app RRS feed

  • Hello to everyone,

           I am going to attempt a hobby making windows 8 apps. I have an extended knowledge of hardaware but almost none of software.
    I want to make a windows 8 app (basic, something until I come up with originality) but I would like to know what would be the best coding I should use or the difference in coding and how it would affect my app.

    JavaScript and HTML, Visual C# or Visual Basic and XAML, Visual C++ and XAML, Visual C++ and DirectX

  • Please read through Getting started with Windows Store apps (Windows) and Developing Windows Store apps (Windows) . After you have basic understanding of Windos Store apps development, you can download sample code for study and then practice some simple programs.

    Actually, the best approach depends on your knowledge, experience, and real scenarios.

    In general, DirectX and C++ is relatively complicated and mainly used to develop games.
