Unable to connect to the specified BizTalk Adapter service RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I have just signed up for an Windows Azure account, added BizTalk service successfully. I have also downloaded WindowsAzureBizTalkServiceSetup and installed it successfully on my local machine with Visual Studio 2012 premium. My local machine also has MSSServer 2012 on it. The installation of the kit was without incident, although during Microsoft BizTalk Adapter Service setup, I chose LocalSystem instead of Other in Management Service Application Pool. As a result (?), I was not asked about specifying the SQL server name. I thought the installation was smart enough to recognize my local sql server since it also uses windows authentication.

From VS, I created a new BizTalk service project. No problem. But when I tried to add a BizTalk service, I got the error below. What have I done wrong and how to fix it?

    Thanks!
