    I have a tab container in a modalpopupdialog,, ever time the dialog is shown I want it to default to the first tab.

    I have tried numerous settings including

    tabs.ActiveTabIndex = 0;
     

    and

    tabs.ActiveTab = tpDetails;

    Hi Darren Rockett,

    According to your description, I think tabs.ActiveTabIndex = 0; is the right method to set the default tab, I hope you could give us a more detailed description of your scene and post your code for us to test. This will better help you solve your problem.

    This is resolved, the tab panel was outside of the update panel
