I wonder if there is a list of known EF 4.1 limitations.

It's sure, it's quite out of date.

For EF 4.1 newly added feature list and not supported list, please see this ADO.NET team blog, http://blogs.msdn.com/b/adonet/archive/2011/04/11/ef-4-1-released.aspx. Actually, EF team is continuously add new great features into EF. I would recommend you refer to ADO.NET team blog and EF design blog for the latest news about EF, http://blogs.msdn.com/b/adonet/, http://blogs.msdn.com/b/efdesign. E.g. recently we have EF 4.2 Beta 1, http://blogs.msdn.com/b/adonet/archive/2011/08/22/ef-4-2-beta-1-available.aspx.

Also, you can check the EF vote for future website to check what's the features the community members like most for future versions of EF, http://data.uservoice.com/forums/72025-ado-net-entity-framework-ef-feature-suggestions. I believe this list can be helpful to you as well.
