Can I navigate elsewhere, when going snapped? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a calculator type of app with logging functionality. The calculating part is all on one page, the graphs of the logs are on a separate one. There's nothing beyond that. The graph page doesn't suit itself for display in snapped state, and blanking it out doesn't seem useful. Is it OK for the app to navigate back to its main page, which supports a snapped state? Or does the navigation action break the requirement of functionality?

  • That should be fine. You should try to display something useful in the snapped view.

If it makes sense you might want to keep track of the pre-snapped state so you can return to it when unsnapped.
