ASP buffering issue in IIS 7 RRS feed

Hi, I just successfully upgraded from W2K IIS5 server to W2K8 IIS7. Well it was mostly successful. On the old machine I had Buffering of ASP set to false on certain folders that needed to display statuses as they built the page. I cannot get this to work the same in IIS 7. I have set the Buffering for ASP to False for the folder but the page still does not display until it is totally loaded.

Any help or thoughts would be appreciated.

Have you tried marking your vdir as an application?

Yes I did try that. Thought I was missing something else since 2008 is so different.

Perhaps this is set fine in IIS but my code isn't right? In our code we use Response.Write("xyz"). In IIS5 with buffering set to false, we would see the text as the page was built. Now in IIS7 with buffering set to false no text displays until the page is done.

When I turned buffering to true and added Response.Flush commands I could make text appear as the page loads. I would rather figure out what is wrong instead of adding all the flushes.

I am having the same issue with buffering. The page loads while getting the data from SQL on IIS6. But with same code and same SQL server database on IIS7.5 the page does not load till its completed. Buffering is set to false.
