  • Hello Bernd,

The current forum is for developers. I'd suggest asking non-programming questions on the Outlook IT Pro Discussions forum instead.

You may also consider developing a VBA macro or Outlook add-in. See Getting Started with VBA in Outlook 2010 . Outlook items have the SaveAs method which saves the Microsoft Outlook item to the specified path and in the format of the specified file type. If the file type is not specified, the MSG format (.msg) is used. The second parameter of the SaveAs method specified the file type to save. Can be one of the following OlSaveAsType constants:olHTML, olMSG, olRTF, olTemplate, olDoc, olTXT, olVCal, olVCard, olICal, orolMSGUnicode.

  • Bernd,

Could you please be more specific? What do you mean "is not working"? Any exceptions or error messages?

Did you try to debug the code? May I see the code you use?
