Installing a third Party program before setup my product RRS feed

    Hi all,

    I want to ask about something I want to do, but I don't know how to do it?

    There is a 3 rd party software I want to install it before my setup.exe. Of course it isn't found in the list of pre-requistes and I can't add it in launch conditions.

    Hi,

    If you want to install it before install your setup.exe, I suggest you use pre-requistes of Setup project. We can add such component to pre-requistes list by creating Custom Packages and put them in the "\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\SDK\v2.0\Bootstrapper".
