  • It worths checking the access of this folder: C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Temp

Right click this folder, select properties. On Security tab, please make sure your account has full control.

  • Complete install logs are needed. Please provide as follows:

Please collect your install logs with this:

    http://aka.ms/vscollect

After you run Collect.exe, you'll find vslogs.cab in your %temp% directory. Please upload vslogs.cab to a public site, like SkyDrive, and post the link here.

Further, you can try using the standalone installer:

    http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=225702

Run the full installer As Administrator from an account with FULL administrative rights.

  • Hi MXGVampyWorm,

Please read MVP's post to share us your full log.

Additionally, the error code seems to tell us you do not have full permission to install this software.

Do you have admin privilege to install? Have you choose "Run as Administrator"?

The error may caused by the following:

    1. You do not have full privilege to install.(Install products require full permission)

    2. One of your files or registries which is used by installer is corrupt so you can not access it. In that way it will be a OS issue and you need to repair your OS.

Anyway, please provide us your full logs.

    Regards,
