Answers

  • There is no notification of other app's toasts and no way to determine how many are currently showing.

  • In theory, It can achieve, WinRT API based on COM, you can use them in desktop. But there is no document to say this.

  • Using toasts from desktop apps is documented. See Sending toast notifications from desktop apps .

Qixing, I'm not sure what you mean by getting the count of toast. Your app will know if it showed a toast, and it will receive the Activated event if the user clicks on the toast. Beyond the activated event there is no communication from the toast to the app.

  • Hi, Rob.

I got the Activated event. I want to get toast numbers.

    for example.

A(desktop app) showed a toast. Then(in the same time) B(desktop app) also showed a toast . Now, I want to get the current toast numbers, it is possible?
