Group Database records by value of column and display in HTML Table / Grid

Hi guys, I have the following problem:

I receive records from a database, result is like this:

Productnumber	Link	Productgroup
Car1	Link1	Cars
Car2	Link2	Cars
Plane1	Link3	Planes
Plane2	Link4	Planes
Bike1	Link5	Bikes
Bike2	Link6	Bikes

I want to group this by "Productgroup" and show it as a table like this:

Cars
Car1	Link1	Cars
Car2	Link2	Cars
Planes
Plane1	Link3	Planes
Plane2	Link4	Planes
Bikes
Bike1	Link5	Bikes
Bike2	Link6	Bikes

(It is kind of working with a Telerik Radgrid and the Grouping function, but that is not ideal)
