Web Browser Control + WebRTC RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am developing a video chat app using C# Winform and Web browser control. I am trying to use WebRTC, but it does not work for me. Web browser control does not support WebRTC. I have tried other kind of web browser controls , like webkit, CefSharp, and open-webkit, but unfortunately no success so far.

    any suggestion?

  • Well the good news is that WEBRTC lists the only browsers it supports.

And we find that IE is not among them.

Your only option is to host one of these browsers in your control.  I don't think there is any .NET support for those browsers, but could be wrong....

  • Hello Mr.Javaman II,

    thanks for reply.

You are right, but , as I mentioned, I've tried some other web Browser controls like Webkit, CefSharp, Open-webKit. Even though they are alternatives to IE's Web Browser control, they don't  support WebRTC. see this

    Thanks
