Does a WCF Service running in IIS qualify for the Windows Server 2008 R2 Logo program? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Dear Venkat,

We want to re-certify as an ISV vendor and thus want to certify our WCF service, which is running under IIS on Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 on Hyper-V hosted machines.

I've read your document "Requirements for the Windows Server 2008 R2 Logo Program for Software", but many of the listed requirements seems to apply to applications not to services.

Therefore I'd like to make sure whether or not a WCF Service running in IIS qualifies for the Windows Server 2008 R2 Logo program.
(And if so, what the special requirements might be in this scenario).

    Many thanks in advance.

    Roberto Rocco.
