i downloaded VS 2013 Preview, i want to add a scaffold but there are none listed, all the help i can find say that they are pre-installed.
What packages do i need to add to get a list of scoffolds?
Thanks

Hi ThatsIT,
Its not missing there is some other way around to access scaffolding.
Please have a look at the steps below:
In Solution Explorer, right-click the Controllers folder and then click Add, then Scaffold.
In the Add Scaffold dialog box, click MVC 5 Controller - Empty, and then click Add.
Same with Views,
First, create a view folder for the HelloWorld controller. Right click Views, click Add, and then click New Folder.
Name the folder HelloWorld.
Right click the HelloWorld folder and click Add, then click Scaffold.
In the Add Scaffold dialog box, click MVC 5 View - Empty without model
For complete tutorail for above steps please follow the link below:
http://www.asp.net/mvc/tutorials/mvc-5/introduction/adding-a-controller
Hope this cleared your doubt.
Thanks,
Jatin

When i click add then scaffold, there is nothing in the Add Scaffold dialog box. In VB there is none, in C# there is only one webforms scaffold.
Thanks

Absolutely no "Scaffolding" option anywhere to be found in VS2013 RTM, sorry. Project is WebApp/C#/MVC I got all the MVC 5 menu options but none of the scaffolding ones. No time to play around with reinstalling 2GB of stuff just to see. Filed under "Does not work, stick to LAMP until next release".

I have the same problems with VS2013 Professional 12.0.21005.1 REL. I've uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times. Still no "Add Controller" or "Add Scaffold" on the menus. I'll have to stick with VS2012 until the next update.

Anxiously installed Update 1 to VS2013 Professional. Still no "Add Controller" or "Add Scaffold" on the menu when I right click on the Controllers folder in my MVC5 project. Do I have to wait on Update 2?
