In our current application, we pre-populate the user name field with 'your_user_id@azuredomain.us'.  The "azuredomain.us" is an active directory only in Azure and not on our user's network.  So when our users come to the login page, the login is prepopulated with 'your_user_id@azuredomain.us'.  We do this because users forget to use "azuredomain.us" instead of "mycompany.com".   In the current (not new) login screen the user would just replace 'your_user_id' with their user id.  This user id matches their userid on their network, except for the azuredomain.us.  So if the userid was johndoe@mycompany.com, they would have a userid of of johndoe@azuredomain.us.  They would use johndoe@azuredomain.us to to login.

With the new login screen how would the user change your_user_id@azuredomain.us.  For this example how does a user edit the login form from "your_user_id@azuredomain.us" to "johndoe@azuredomain.us".

  • It's better if you plan for SSO for login to Azure AD, you can deploy the ADFS infrastructure and achieve the same.
