Visual Studio 2008 Connectivity Issue RRS feed

  • Hi All,

    I use Visual Studio 2008 Professional edition.

    Recently the Team foundation server connectivity URL has been changed from http://xxxxx:8080/xxxxx    

    to https://xxxxx/xxxxx  It has been changed the usage of NTLM to Kerberos. Now I am facing challenge to connect to Team Foundation Server 2015 using Visual Studio 2008 Professional edition. After a lot of research I found the below mentioned URL 


    I followed steps as mentioned in above URL.

    Installed Visual Studio 2013, Team Explorer 2013 and even MSSCCI provider also


    As mentioned in above blog, and found the error:

    Now can anyone help me to resolve the issue. After adding the TFS URL

    https://xxxxx/xxxxx  able to connect to Team Foundation Server 2015 but unable to perform get latest action or any other actions.

    Can anyone help me regarding the above issue. I am unable to perform any action on Visual Studio 2008 professional edition.

    Stuck with above error message.

  • look  at the instructions to connection to TFS Connect to team projects

    look at the description about Visual Studio 2015 and apply the info to your VS 2008.

    in this article you see where the option for VS 2008 are: Visual Studio 2008 – Connecting to TFS 2010 Server
