    is there any interface in mediafoundation that  can encode d3d surface or texture to a video?

  • This depends on you being able to get uncompressed image data from the surface or texture.  You might use IDirect3DSurface9::LockRect to get at the image bits.  Then you can use the sink writer to encode a series of individual frames to an output video.  You would need to know the format (color space, frame size) of the images you are passing in from D3D.

    can u give any hint on how use/set the Color Format, i can get the dxgi or d3d Format but how would i programmaticaly set it in the Input type ?
