SQL Adventureworks RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm a beginner with SQL and are currently playing around using AdventureWorksLT2017 and now I'm going to try to retrieve detailed information about every order a chosen salesmen has done. I'm thinking of retrieve name, listing price, sale price, amount of products and discount (not % but in value).

The next step is to build a stored procedure with the salesmen's username as inparameter.

And the final step is to make a website using MVC with a search-bar, that uses the data from the stored procedure above.

Are there anyone who's done anything similar or someone that can push me in the right direction?
Maybe someone who's played with AdventureWorks(LT)2017 or any earlier version?

  • Hi LewisL17 ,

Could you please share us your table structure (CREATE TABLE …) and some sample data(INSERT INTO …) along with your expected result and logic? So that we’ll get a right direction and make some test.
