Creating Custom Sketch Styles RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is it possible to create custom sketchflow styles?  Kind of like in Visio and use them in multiple projects?

  • Certainly.  Just keep your styles in a separate resource dictionary and you can then add/use that resource dictionary into other projects.
    For example:
    1. Draw a button
    2. Right click the button, Edit Template -> Edit a Copy
    3. Pick Resource Dictionary, and create a new one
    4. Create your style/template
    5. Now you could re-use your style/template in another project by adding the resource dictionary to the other project.
    6. Apply the style by using Edit Template -> Apply Resource -> Your resource name or from the resources panel

  • What I was after here is the ability to create a pallet of sketch object that can be inserted in to any project just like the Sketchflow pallet?
