Questions regarding Microsoft Partner Program RRS feed

  • Question

  • We are a small ISV and have developed below two products using C#:

Lattice.SPGen: a code and stored procedures generator supporting MS SQL Server, Oracle, DB2 UDB, MySQL and PostgreSQL RDBMS.

Lattice.DataMapper: a persistence framework (O/R Mapper) designed to support stored procedures.

These two products have been sold more than 200 copies around 45 countries. Also we just lunched a free school web site for searching US public schools, and all matched schools will be displayed at google map.

publicschoolportal.com is built on top of ASP.NET 2.0 as well as AJAX web application framework we developed.

Now we are interested in Microsoft Partner Programs, here is a couple of questions:

    1. Which process we need go through to become a Microsoft Partner?
    2. What benefit we will have to become a Microsoft Partner?

Thank you in advance for help.

  • Hello,

You can get all of the program membership information and the enrollment link at https://partner.microsoft.com/40009570. As you'll see, there are different levels within the Microsoft Partner Program and the offers vary by level.

There are some great offers within the Partner Program designed specifically for small ISVs that you might want to check out:

    • | Innovate on | portals (Vista, Office, SQL, Dynamics, and more to come)
    • Empower for ISVs

If you are interested in previewing new technologies and products, you might also be interested in ISV Innovation Days, free one-day events hosted by local Microsoft offices all over the world. http://msdn.microsoft.com/isv/innovationdays/default.aspx

    I hope this information helps!
