  • Question

  • Can MSAGL be used in SQL Server Reporting Services?  Are there any documented steps on how to do this?

    Thanks in advance!

  • Hi Chris,

MSAGL is a general purpose graph drawing tool implemented as a set of .NET assemblies. If your SQL objects form a graph, then you can create an MSAGL graph, which is a “shadow copy” of your graph, and MSAGL will draw the former for you. You can keep back pointers to your objects from the MSAGL graph, to reach them on, for example, a mouse click.

    Thanks,
