    Could you, please, recommend a book for the newbie on Windows Driver Development with WDK(7.1 and 8.0)? I have understanding of how does the Windows OS work and have some experience in Windows system programming.

    The best reading on Windows driver development is the MSDN documentation. Of course, read the WDF book (and errata).

    I have understanding of how does the Windows OS work and have some experience in Windows system programming.

    Then you understand that driver development for Windows is a very broad subject, and, like Windows itself, a permanently moving target. So, start from the documentation, return to it often, and contact live people that work on technologies interesting for you.  Good luck and welcome to the forum.
