  • Hi,

    What should be done to manage the mail queue growth in exchange server 2010, suddenly sometimes my exchange server 2010 mail queues increases. What needs to be done for a smoooth process? why does this happen?

  • there may be reasons that bulk emails being sent. Large mail queue depends on below facts:

    Size of emails in queue vs bandwidth

    Next hop reach ability

    HUB server processing time to deliver an email

  • Hello,

    Thanks, Is there any way we can change the HUB server processing time to deliver an email or it is set to default?

    Then what if all are below normal size and there are 100 of mals in queue to process? can they be removed from the transport queue folder?

  • I would start with Exchange Best Practice Analyzer to see if it indicates any configuration issues related to transport....
