Windows 7 Access 2007 32bit. - Automatic configuration error with recent update.

Hi,

Anyone having an issue with Access 2007? Error message below.

Automatic configuration of current version of Microsoft Office Access has failed. Your database might not function correctly. This can occur if you do not have the necessary permission to install Microsoft Office Access on the computer.

Microsoft Office 2007 Enterprise.

I have seen the same problem with Office 365.

The end user just had a update on 15/Jun/2020 and Access failed to load up.

1. Repair failed.

2. Uninstaller successful but failed to remove MS Office 2007. (means it failed to uninstall MS Office 2007).

I can't find anything on MS Office 2007 related.

But that's for 2016.  Does the PC have any 2016+, O365 components installed, even trial versions maybe.

Hi Daniel,

Not 2016. But Outlook 2010 standalone. Tried removing the recent Office updates, didn't work.

I didn't remove Outlook 2010 updates, don't want to mess with the user emails.

Could there be any 2016+ components installed on the PC?

None.

Only Office 2010 updates. Office 2010 not install.
