What is a Map's max mapSize? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, I have the following code:

And I am trying to display a world map.

My question is what do i have to make X and Y so that I display an entire world map instead of one that gets cut off?

  • The documentation states what the size of a map image can be as "The width must be between 80 and 900 pixels and the height must be between 80 and 834 pixels.". For your URL it looks like you are trying to get an image centered on 0,0 at zoom level 2. At zoom level 2 the full world map is 1024 pixels by 1024 pixels. you can find more information on the size of the full map at different zoom levels here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb259689.aspx
